Food & Drinks
The Hop Farm Festival will offer a great selection of Food &
Drink stalls on site.

Alcohol
Alcohol: We will have plenty of bars on
site serving a great variety of alcohol. And don't worry all you
beer loving folks....we've got real ale.
Please be advised that No alcohol / drinks bottles / glass
bottles / cans / illegal substances are permitted to be brought
into the arena under any circumstances. Only sealed plastic bottles
or unopened cartons of water under 500ml size will be permitted
into the arena. Food for personal use is permitted onsite including
in the arena.
By law, the consumption and traffic of illegal substances is
prohibited. In the case that anyone is seen selling or consuming
such substances within the venue, they will be immediately escorted
out and dealt with by the appropriate authorities. As always, we
would like to remind you that for the good of everyone concerned,
but especially for your health, it is always wise to drink
responsibly.
Do not drive if you have been drinking. Remember that it is as
much your responsibility to take care of yourself as it is to take
care of those who place their trust in you.
Site Shops
24 hour Shop
24 hour Shop will be open 24 hours a day located within the
campsite. It will be providing festival go-ers with all of
essential camping provisions...everything but the kitchen sink.
Merchandise
There will be official festival merchandise stalls located
throughout the festival site. At these sites you will be able to
purchase THE OFFICIAL Hop Farm Festival t-shirts, programmes,
laminates, festival memorabilia and more.
A site map will be available on the day of the
festival.
Cash Points
Looking for cash? Yeah, so are we ....times are tough aren't
they?
But seriously there will be cash points throughout the site.
There will be a surcharge for each transaction.
Care & Safety
Some tips to bear in mind for a safer festival experience:
- When arriving on site, identify your nearest emergency
exits.
- Follow the instructions of Security Personnel, or other
officials in the event of a situation.
- Notify a Steward or Official if you see any disruptive
behaviour
- Move to where there is more space, should a crowd surge
occur
- Ask for help if you need it and help others, especially if
someone falls. The people working at the Festival are there to help
you. Let them know if something happens. Remain calm. In any event,
they will know what to do.
- Stay calm (if you are distressed, ask to be taken to the
Welfare Tent)
Please note there will be searches upon entry into the
arena.
The Hop Farm Festival does not condone the following and all
persons involved in such acts will be ejected from the festival and
into the hands of local authorities.
- Drug use
- Anti-Social Behaviour
- Under-age drinking
Welfare Tent
The Welfare Tent location will be clearly sign posted throughout
the site and will be open 24 hours providing experienced, caring
and confidential help for all kinds of practical and personal
problems. Offering general assistance and advice, a messages
service and help for distressed / missing people.
The Welfare Tent also offers a recovery area for patients from
medical and emergency shelter in a Crash tent with camper mats and
sleeping bags.
Information Points and Stewards
There will be information points located around the site. All
designated information areas will have all up to date information
pertaining to the festival.
Lost & Found
The Hop Farm Festival has a lost and found. All property either
found or turned in will be handed to event control who will log the
items on collection. This will be logged and held until a week
after the festival ends.
Trading
Want to have a stall at the festival?
The Hop Farm will now be accepting applications for all
concessions : food and non-food traders. We are looking to feature
an eclectic and earth friendly village filled with tons of variety.
Each stall is priced and selected individually based on the
location of the site, the type of organization, the number of
staff, the size of stall and the products being sold.
There will be some 40,000 people on site over the course of the
weekend. So there will be plenty of options to trade. Please email

Giving Back
The Hop Farm Festival is pleased to announce its charity
affiliation for the third year in a row, "Cradle". We here at Hop
Farm like to do our bit and are happy to do so on your behalf...now
don't you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

Cradle is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) working with
children and community development programmes.
