The Hop Farm Festival came about after a survey was taken and
the feeling amongst fans buying festival tickets, was that they
ended up feeling the lowest on the pecking order. So we felt
it was time to go back to basics and let it be about the punter and
the music.

Are dogs allowed?
Only guide dogs are allowed on site.
Do you have to pay for Car Parking?
No. Car Parking is free. There is a charge for Campervans,
please see the Camping page.
Can I bring food and drink into the
festival?
Food for personal use only may be brought into the arena and
onto the campsite, however please bear in mind there are plenty of
outlets on site selling food and drink. Please note that no glass
is permitted anywhere is the campsite or arena.
Only sealed plastic bottles of water under 500ml size will be
permitted into the arena. No alcohol / drinks bottles / glass
bottles / cans / illegal substances are permitted to be brought
into the Arena under any circumstances. Please see our food and
drink page for more information. (There will be a random search
policy)
Can I start a bon fire with my friends at the
campsites?
No bonfires or BBQ's to be allowed in the tented area, however
there will be an official festival communal bonfire.
Can I bring my children?
Children under 12 years of age are admitted for free, they will
still be issued with a ticket which will be exanchanged for a
wristband. They will need to be accompanied by a ticketed adult
aswell. All children 12 years old and older must have a ticket to
enter the festival. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied
by a parent or guardian over 21. No more than two under 16's will
be permitted to enter with any one adult. Don't take any chances
-bring proof of age as you will be asked for this on entry to the
site.
Is the Hop Farm fully accessible?
The Hop Farm welcomes wheelchair users and most of the site is
relatively level with easy access. We offer disabled parking for
blue badge holders with easy access to the camping areas for those
camping as well as for day pass holders. If you require assistance
on arrival please inform the event stewards. Please visit our disabled
info page for more details. Please be advised to bring official
documentation stating your disabled status on the day of the
festival.
Can I enter the venue with a camera or video
camera?
You may enter the venue with a camera as long as it is not a
professional camera (a camera with a reflex lens, adjustable or
digital). Video cams, however, are not allowed in the concert
venue.
Are there cash points on site?
Yes there will be a number of cash points throughout the site.
There will be a surcharge for each transaction.
I have purchased tickets; do I need a wristband to enter
the arena?
YES. The first thing you should do upon arrival is to trade your
ticket for your wristband (they won't let you back in without it)
at a wristband exchange point, which will be clearly sign
posted.

How do I get my campervan/motor home
permit?
There is a limited number of spaces and will be are first come
first serve basis
You can get purchase your campervan permit on the ticket page when
you purchase your tickets. Your permit will be sent to you along
with your tickets.
Will I have to queue on arrival and/or departure from
the festival?
As with all festivals, there are always lengthy waits upon
arrival and departure, so its important to time your journey

What NOT to bring:
We're pretty chilled here at Hop Farm but we do have to have
some rules and regulations to keep everyone safe and sound and the
following items may not be brought into the site through the
campsite gates:
- Glass - no glass is permitted in the campsite or arena.
- Illegal substances
- Portable Laser Equipment and Pens
- Unauthorised Professional Film or Video Equipment
- Audio Recorders
- Air Horns
- Spray Cans
- Fireworks
- Flares
- Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a
weapon
- Please be advised you may be body searched at the
entrance.
- Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an
offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities
onsite may be searched.
- Excessive amounts of food, cigarettes and alcohol may be
refused entry to the site. Please only bring enough for personal
use.
- Large camping gas canisters (more than 2.7kg in gas weight)
aren't permitted anywhere [however small camping gas canisters are
permitted in the campsite].
- All items will be confiscated.
No percussion instruments, drums or bass instruments will be
allowed on to the festival site ... all your musical areas should
be sorted by the pro's we've booked to play for you!
My Festival Guide
We know that there may be some of you new to the festival scene
and even those who can be a bit forgetful, so below is a list to
help you properly prepare (and PACK!) for your Festival experience
at The Hop Farm Festival

Disabled Info
The Hop Farm Festival will offer a range of facilities for
people with mobility and other difficulties. Please be advised to
bring valid documentation stating your disabled status on the day
of the festival.
Our facilities include:
- A disabled parking area that is adjacent to the site. Please be
advised that disabled parking is reserved for blue badge holders
and is at a first come first basis. Disabled toilets and showers
available on site.
- Dedicated camping area (referred to as Disabled Camping). The
site is a relatively flat and level area, with easy access for both
wheel chairs and push-cars. There will be a campsite team with
experience of providing relevant welfare support.
- There will be viewing platforms in the main entertainment
arenas
- Power outlets will be provided for charging mobility scooters
and other medical requirements.
You are permitted to bring 1 carer. Your free carer ticket will
be sent to you along with your ticket when you purchase through see
tickets.

To enable us to accommodate your needs if you're able to inform
us of the level of support required for example, if you're
a wheel chair user, we can ensure we have all aspects of your
welfare taken into account.
